Chunqing Lin, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA Semel Institute Center for Community Health. She is the Methods Core Associate Director/Core Scientist of the Center for HIV Identification, Prevention and Treatment Services (CHIPTS) and a co-investigator of the UCLA Rapid, Rigorous, Relevant (3R) Implementation Science Hub. Dr. Lin received her Ph.D. in epidemiology from UCLA in 2009. She has research expertise in implementation science with a focus on service improvement, integration, and decentralization of HIV, substance use, and mental health treatment and care. Applying qualitative/quantitative, mixed methods, social marketing, and business efficiency methodologies, she conducts a variety of studies to improve the quality and access to healthcare services for marginalized and underserved populations in Vietnam, China, and the United States. Dr. Lin also has played an active role in the UCLA/Vietnam Fogarty HIV training program.
